Theater Group

Parchhai (The Shadow)

A theatre is a mutual form of fine art that uses live performers to present the knowledge of an actual or likely event before a live audience in a specific place. Through the study of theatre, students develop their intellectual and artistic skills. Using these creative skills, they can solve many personal and social problems and can adapt to imminent changes in their ecosystem. Heritage Institute of Management and Communication (HIMCOM) has a panoramic theatre group, “Parchhai (The Shadow)”. It is an excellent platform for students to exhibit their singing, writing, acting, direction, dancing and other theatrical skills in a creative environment.

Through Parchhai, all students are encouraged to take part in theatre to unleash their innate potential and hidden skills. Besides, this theater group is aimed at promoting Indian culture and its values, interestingly and artistically. For students, it is also beneficial in acquiring certain knowledge and applying it in meaningful ways. Parchhai makes them familiar with the complete know-how of all the forms of theatre such as Drama, Street Plays, Musical Theatre, Tragedy, Comedy, and other genres.
